"Heroes. Since my return much has changed. The kingdom's armies have rallied against the forces of dread amassing in the east. They are holding the line but for how long we cannot be sure. More troubling I have heard that there is an orc warlord gaining favor in the west and growing his warband by the day. And then in the south... there are tales coming from the wastes of antipathy of a large contingent of undead wandering the wastes. What these confluences could all mean is eluding me, but it is nothing good."
